Sometimes we can’t tell what’s bigger at FITCAMP 180 … our member’s muscles, or their hearts. Sunday, September the 24th, was definitely all heart!
In support of some of our ladies who have struggled with breast cancer, we hosted our first annual breast cancer fundraiser that day … a big FC180 workout to support The Susan G. Komen Foundation. The turnout blew our minds! It was a sea of pink and emotions. Tears were shed as we went around the room and called out the names of loved ones who are presently battling this disease … and those who tragically didn’t win the battle.
Our goal was to raise $3,000. But thanks to everyone’s generosity we brought in over $4,000! All money will go toward breast-cancer research.
You won’t find a fitness community that cares more for each other than this one! We can’t wait to do it again next year … only bigger and better.
